Just received our sign for the family cabins, absolutely beautiful. I contacted John the craftsman May 10, 2019 and I gave him my ideas, he sent a mock-up within 2 hours after several more changes and mock-ups the design was approved by the family and we just received it on May 28. Quality exceptional, it looks as it was depicted in the final mock up. It was exactly as I envisioned it would look. John even sent after care instructions and product suggestions so that our family sign will continue to look as good many more generations down the road as it does today! Thanks John!

I was looking for a sign to be made for my husbands 60th. Im from BC and I tried to find somewhere out here that would make it but kept reaching dead ends. I was fortunate enough to find The Artful Carvers website and talk to John. I gave him several ideas of what I was looking for. He sent me several mocks until I was happy with the end result.
The sign was shipped to me from Ontario at a very reasonable price. It arrived the day before my hubbys birthday. He opened it at his birthday and was thrilled with the sign and the beautiful work John did.

In November 2017, I came to John with a very particular, detailed design I had in mind for a sign for a home on a lake. Even if he knew from the start this was an ambitious sign project, with my list of many specifications, John embraced my request!

He worked with me through many mock-ups, listening to what I wanted, building on my ideas, suggesting more feasible ones ( :) ! ). I was always very impressed with how he paid attention to include all the elements that were important to me. The end result is simply amazing. A sign that fits in its environment and truly represent its recipient!
